N.Divya was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu in 1988. She has completed her graduation and post-graduation in painting from The faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Saiyajirao University, Vadodara in 2011 and 2013 respectively. She studied at The Collective Studio Baroda from 2009 to 2013 under the tutelage of Rekha Rodwittiya and Surendran Nair, within an alternative educational space of learning which focuses on an intense and rigorous training of holistic living through the practice of art. She was a recipient of the Nasreen Mohamedi Scholarship in 2010 and has been part of an exhibition and auction held by Indian Foundation for the Arts, Bangalore in 2011. She has also exhibited at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Saiyajirao University, Vadodara in 2011 and 2013. N.Divya has been part of group exhibitions such as Six Generations : Notional Worlds at SITE Art Space, curated by Rekha Rodwittiya and Four Conversations in the Room at Sakshi Salon, curated by Rekha Rodwittiya.

N.Divya currently lives and works in Vadodara, and remains a member of The Collective Studio Baroda.
